MAINTAINING HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS DURING THE CORONA VIRUS EPIDEMIC
message from MADISON PROFESSIONAL DANCE CENTER
During times like these, nothing is more important than our health and our loved ones. On behalf of Madison Professional Dance Center, we would like to start by wishing you and your families good health during these difficult times.
Even though today’s situation can hardly be described as “business as usual”, we are beginning to plan opening the studio back up and wanted to make our families aware of the extra precautions we will be taking to ensure everyone’s safety.
As always, we are available for questions/suggestions at any time.
WHAT WE’RE DOING TO MAINTAIN HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS
As coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread throughout the world, we wanted to take this opportunity to detail some of the specific “day-to-day” precautionary steps we will be taking to ensure our families and our dancers safety & health.
We’re keeping up to date with with local, state and national health guidelines. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services and the Office of Governor Evers are leading the response to this crisis across Wisconsin, and we’re following their advice in terms of precautions and mitigation measures.
We will be wiping down ballet barres and other frequently touched items after each use.We are limiting 2 dancers per barre and changing the arrangement of the barres in class to ensure social distancing.
Floors in each studio and benches in dressing rooms are marked with tape 6 feet apart to ensure social distancing.
The team at Madison Professional Dance Center is small and we are taking every necessary precaution that we are not inadvertently spreading the Corona Virus.
When not at work, we are staying at home and avoiding all unnecessary interaction with people outside of our home We are washing our hands regularly with hot water and disinfectant soap, using hand sanitizer when washing our hands is not available and using disinfectant wipes in our vehicles before and after visits. We disinfect our studio, surfaces and hands daily. We are following the OSHA Safety Guidelines
WHAT YOU CAN DO
We urge our families & dancers to follow The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) recommendations:
Social distancing: Practice ”social distancing” by keeping at least six feet between you and other people. Wash your hands: Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. Don’t touch your face: Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. Cover your cough or sneeze: Cough or sneeze into a tissue, then throw that tissue in the trash. If you don’t have a tissue, use your elbow (and not your hands). Stay home if you’re not feeling well
